After “almost killing” a user of the online meal ordering and delivery service Swiggy, actor Ronit Roy posted a message. Ronit posted about a delivery man riding an electric scooter “on the wrong side of the road onto oncoming traffic” on X, the previous Twitter platform. He asked whether Swiggy really gave a damn about their lives.

“@Swiggy,” tweeted Ronit. I almost put one of your riders to death. They most certainly need riding lessons. It is not necessary for them to ride on the wrong side of the road and into oncoming traffic in order to operate those little electric mopeds. Then, however, are you really concerned in their lives, or is this simply routine business?

What Swiggy is saying
In response, Swiggy said on Twitter, “Hey Ronit, we expect our delivery partner to follow all traffic rules and have noted this to be looked into, do share any details if available for the necessary action to be taken. ^Luv.” One individual responded to the tweet by asking, “Is that Swiggy’s fault? Isn’t driving on the right side of the road just common sense?

Concerning Ronit’s life
In December of last year, he and his spouse, Neelam Bose Roy, celebrated their twentieth wedding anniversary. At a Goan temple, they remarried to commemorate the event.
In the caption, Ronit wrote, “Mujhse shaadi karogi???” Phir Se? (Would you remarry me?) He commented, “Renewing our vows: Part 2,” once again, sharing an additional behind-the-scenes photo from the ceremony. Before getting married, Ronit and Neelam dated for more than three years. Their son Agastya and daughter Aador were born after their 2003 marriage.
